Our Directors are Australia's experts in their chosen fields, having successfully managed the largest credit portfolios within major Banks for decades, or have been amongst Australia's best industrialist players for over a quarter of a century. 

The team is lead by ​Nicholas Kougellis is a Managing Director and Founder of Australian Capital Partners. Nicholas has over 25 years of experience in Banking & Finance and Investment Management in both Australian and Europe. He has extensive experience in Global Debt and Capital Markets, Real Estate Financing and Capital Solutions, Portfolio Management.  Nicholas has excellent relationships with Major Australian and Private Banks, Institutional Investors, Wealth Managers and UHNW.

Prior to establishing ACP Nicholas was Head Portfolio Manager at Westpac and successfully managed one of the largest institutional loan books (> $100bn) and most profitable investment (>$15bln) & hedge books (>$10bln) in Australia for the past 10 years.  Nicholas has a stellar record over the past 25 years of rising through the ranks of credit analysts with major investments banks both here in Sydney with JPMorgan and London with ABN AMRO and HSBC to be regarded as one of the best credit risk analyst and portfolio managers.

Nicholas is now successfully applying his wealth of experience and strong contacts in the fund's management, corporate financing and advisory business. Nicholas holds an MBA (Professional Accounting) from University of Technology Sydney and at the London School of Economics (UK) he completed a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from University of Technology, Sydney.
